Myco Country Fair 2025 will be returning to AREA 101 August 8-10th for a weekend filled of bass, dub, and unity. This year's theme is BABYLON BEATDOWN: returning to our Renegade Roots bringing out a heavy hitting lineup of local vinyl DJs spinning roots, dub, reggae, jungle and DnB! Mycology workshops will be hosted Saturday afternoon with Vinyl DJs and live music all night Saturday. Camping is available Friday through Sunday nights. This event will be run on a Pay What Its Worth basis as always. RSVP via the contact form on this website. Donations are respected but not expected. This event is a way we give back to the community that keeps this ship afloat.

Myco Country Fair 2024 will be hosted at Area 101 in Laytonville, CA on Saturday October 12th. Mycology workshops will take place from 3-6PM followed by a live performance by psychedelic rock cumbia fusion band Hella Mendocino. After hours DJ sets will keep the vibe high through the night. Come celebrate harvest season in the Emerald Triangle at the birthplace of Emerald Cup and a legendary psychedelic party venue.
Lit N Loud Productions will be returning with their laser and light show as well as top of the line sound production.
This is a Pay What You Want event supporting Sustainable Mycology Research and Education across the Emerald Triangle and points beyond through E.M.E.R.G.

Myco Country Fair is coming up on Saturday August 5th 2023. Join us at Tan Oak Park in Laytonville, CA for a day full of mycology workshops, demonstrations, and lectures.
Underground Blues and Folk artist Dirty Laundry will be performing at 4PM. At 6PM there will be live psychedelic fusion music from Hella Mendocino, followed by a live vinyl DJ set by local legend Larry Hacken Heavyweight Sound. After hours DJ sets will keep the vibe rolling into the night, powered by Funktion One audio sponsored by Lit N Loud Productions.
This event is a donation based Pay What You want fundraiser supporting E.M.E.R.G. and the continuation of sustainable mycology research, education and application across the Emerald Triangle and points beyond.

How do I get a ticket?
There is no ticket necessary. Donations will be collected at the gate. Please RSVP by emailing [email protected] with the number of people in your group, and if you will be camping Saturday night. This is to help get an expectation of turnout! You can click the CONTACT page here on the website to easily email me!
How can I reserve a campsite or cabin?
Campsites will be assigned on a first come first serve basis upon arrival at the event. There are wooden camp platforms available as well as grassy spots to camp, and great trees for hammocks. Car camping is available as well. There are bathrooms and showers available on-site. Email [email protected] for information about cabins!
What should I bring?
Spores, seeds, scions and sacraments for our swap, camping gear if you plan to camp, swim gear if you want to swim in the river across the street from the venue (good shoes recommended for trail), water bottle to refill, hoodie/layers for night time, cash to support local vendors, musicians and if you want to donate to our cause 🍄❤ a smile on your face and fire in your heart

Alcohol, weapons, bad intentions, mids.
Can I bring my dog?
Service animals only please!
Is this event family friendly?
Yes, this is an all ages event.
Can I volunteer?
Yes, please reach out via email [email protected] if you want to help set up on Friday, assist with the event on Saturday, or help clean up on Sunday.
I'm travelling from out of area, can I come early?
Yes, please check in with me via email [email protected] to confirm your arrival time. We will be at the venue setting up Friday afternoon and you are welcome to come set up camp.
